Description

The RadioMaster SBUS Wireless Trainer Module offers seamless wireless connectivity between an instructor’s and a student’s radio, providing a convenient and efficient cable-free training solution. By eliminating the need for traditional trainer cables, this module enhances flexibility and ease during training sessions, while ensuring reliable control and a smoother learning experience.

The basic idea is that the Student radio talks to the Instructor’s radio via a Radio link instead of a trainer cable. The Trainer module must be installed in the Instructor’s Radio. You need to install a receiver (compatible with Student Radio) inside the trainer module. This receiver needs to provide SBUS serial output and support 5V power.

The module is compatible with any receiver that supports a 5V SBUS serial output, making it compatible with a wide variety of radios. This versatility allows for easy pairing with both instructor and student radios, regardless of brand, as long as they meet the required connection specifications.

For student radios equipped with built-in ExpressLRS modules, we recommend pairing them with the RadioMaster RP2 or XR2 receiver for optimal performance. For radios featuring an internal 4-in-1 multi-protocol module or CC2500 module, the RadioMaster R81 V2 receiver is the ideal choice. Additionally, the Wireless Trainer Module supports any student radio that can connect to a receiver with 5V SBUS serial output, making it a highly versatile solution for a wide range of setups.
