To update the OMPHobby ESC you will need the OSHM4118 OMPHobby Bluetooth module to perform the firmware update on your OMPHobby ESC.

Firmware update instructions
- Install SunnySky App on your phone / Tablet. Start the App. Allow app to use bluetooth connection.
iOS App: Sunnysky ESC iOS App
Android App: Sunnysky ESC Android App - Download the appropriate firmware file for your ESC from the top of this page
- Extract the zip file and save the .sqlite file to a known location on your phone/tablet
- Connect the Bluetooth module to ESCs programming port as shown in the Connection Diagram above.
- Connect Battery to ESC.
- Press the Bluetooth button to scan.


- You should see a device with name “BLE-1234”. The number will be different for every module.
- Press Connect button next to it
- Now the Red LED on Bluetooth module should be turned ON and the Bluetooth circle on the App should be green. This means Bluetooth link is active.

- Import the sqlite firmware file to the app. On Android, open the firmware zip file with the app.


- The app should now allow you to choose the new firmware version. Choose the required firmware and press OK.
- Firmware update process will take a while. Do not close the app or power down the ESC till the update procedure is completed.



This completes Firmware update of your ESC.
