Closing the gap between M4 Max and M7 the M5 helicopter is built for everything from low RPM cruising and scale flying to relentless hardcore 3D. M5 and M6 have a shared parts count of over 90% between them.

M5 combines the best attributes of M4 and M7 into one attractive package. An elegant, open frame design, carried by a sturdy main plate with a compact and efficient servo rack design, combines easy maintenance and wiring. This is completed by an unbelievably stiff, layered carbon frame with beautifully chamfered edges on the lower panel. M5 is designed for modern 15 mm servos. If desired, M5 can be crossgraded to 20 mm servos using M6 spare parts. Integrated wiring guides make routing your wires a breeze!

Robust light weight CNC components

• Main rotor blade grip, Main rotor hub, Swashplate outer ring, Main plate are CNC machined from forged aluminum alloy
• Remaining components are made from 7075 aluminum alloy via CNC processing ensuring a lightweight yet robust structure
• The upper and lower sides of the air-frames are connected with three layer carbon fiber plates forming a robust air-frame structure that provides stable rigid support and durability while ensuring easy maintenance
• Triple carbon plate reinforced tail boom mounting guarantees unparalleled rigidity

Main rotor features

• Long-throw main rotor design provides exceptional control authority in every situation

• Downscaled M7 tail rotor with 6 mm tail rotor shaft and 5 mm spindle shaft
• 28mm carbon fiber tail boom
• 6mm wide tail drive belt with helically driven belt tensioner system (like M7)
• Single-piece aluminium tail housing
• Best-in-class tail performance, using the proven tail rotor design concept from M7
• Dynamic weights on the tail rotor reduce servo torques in flight
• Tail rotor transmission ratio of 95/20 = 4.75:1

• The universal 6-12S battery rail offers high expand-ability. The quick-release battery plate mechanism ensures easy operation and safe, reliable flight.

• The airframe can accept any battery configuration into a spacious 58 x 70 x 300 mm battery bay.
• M5 battery trays fit M6 without modification, and vice versa
• Convenient twist-lock system derived from M7.
